Keira Chin holds a Master of Performing Arts (Music) from the Universiti Malaya and graduated with first-class honours Bachelor of Music from Universiti Putra Malaysia, majoring in piano and minoring in vocal. She has been trained in the school choir since young and participated in various choral competitions with the school team. As a jazz-pop vocalist, she has performed in music festivals namely Penang Island Jazz Festival (fringe stage), Thailand Jazz Workshop at Rangsit University, Malaysian Jazz Piano Festival, Jumuro’s Music Synthesis at KLPAC, International Jazz Day at No Black Tie, and more.

No stranger to the limelight, Keira was a Top 15 finalist in 8TV’s ‘I Wanna Sing’. Her repertoire also extends to theatre, composing and directing the ‘Light of Dust’ production by Charles Jong. This 2017 stage play at Damansara Performing Arts Centre (DPAC) earned her Best Original Music Composition in the 15th Asli Drama Awards.

With years of working in the music industry and professional teaching experiences, Keira aims to inspire and stimulate music learners’ interest in music learning, performance, and songwriting.
