Mustaqim Abdullah is a trombonist, conductor and music arranger. He is currently a member of the Selangor Symphony Orchestra and KL Performing Arts Centre Symphonic Band. He has performed with the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra, the 2010 World Youth Orchestra, KL City Hall Orchestra, Wells Cathedral School UK, Norfolk community band UK, and the Queensland Youth Orchestra.

As an avid band director, Mustaqim travels the country giving workshops at school and community ensembles, while holding a part time position at University Putra Malaysia. He has been conducting school bands since 18 and was assistant conductor of the National Youth Orchestra from 2010 to 2012. His latest engagement is as the resident conductor of the Broadway Academy Orchestra. He has worked with conductors such as Kevin Field, Benjamin Zander, Claus Peter Flor, Ralph Hultgren, and Adrian Tan.
