Diana Hashim is a Malaysian singer-songwriter and vocal instructor. She graduated from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Performance (Hons.) from the Conservatory of Music, specialising in classical voice.

From 2021 to 2023, Diana served as a representative and section leader of the UiTM Chamber Choir, leading her section to excellence in both local and international performances. In 2022, she and the choir earned the Grand Prix Championship at prestigious international choir competitions in Spain and Italy, showcasing Malaysia’s vocal talent on the global stage. Her formal classical training provides a strong technical foundation, while her versatility extends to contemporary music, songwriting, and live performances across multiple genres.

Diana has teaching experience both locally and internationally, including in Singapore, where she worked with students of various ages and backgrounds. Her teaching philosophy emphasises vocal health, expressive delivery, and confidence building, tailoring her approach to each student’s voice, goals, and musical interests. She covers a wide range of techniques, from breath control and resonance to stage presence and artistic interpretation.

As an active performer, Diana regularly takes the stage for gigs, collaborations, and special events, seamlessly blending classical discipline with contemporary artistry. She believes that every performance whether in a concert hall or an intimate venue — should create an emotional connection with the audience.

With her blend of classical expertise, contemporary performance experience, and international achievements, Diana offers students a holistic and inspiring approach to vocal training. Her mission is not only to develop strong, healthy voices but also to nurture confident, expressive musicians who find joy in their craft.
