Nisha Dharan Nair
Nisha Dharan Nair is an international improviser and theatre practitioner with teams based in New York, California, Philippines, India, Thailand and locally. After returning from the UK with a law degree (LLB hons) from Cardiff University 2011. She decided to step into the world of producing TVCs, copywriting and scriptwriting. While her career took off on a separate track, her love for theatre led her straight to KLPAC. She debuted in 2013 as part of KLPAC’s 6th run of T4YP.
Since then she has performed in KLPAC, DPAC numerous site specific performances in universities and art houses, appeared in several music videos, indie films and featured on well established YouTube channels. All while sustaining her career in communications. After 10 years of storytelling in the media entertainment industry she decided to take a career leap into teaching and training late 2019.
In 2020 she discovered that the virtual world held a myriad of opportunities for her to develop international teams, to train new and established performers. It was when the borders opened in 2022 she decided to take her skills abroad to Singapore, Vietnam and Manila. Through these opportunities Nisha discovered she has the knack of imparting knowledge and is able to transfer skills to learners of all ages with ease and a deep sense of fulfillment. She now teaches at International schools, local schools and talent hubs across the Klang Valley.
