Standard : Classical Piano, Music Intervention (Holistically Empowering Neurodivergent Individuals Through Music)
Having strongly influenced by various genres of music at an early age, Sue Hui Chuah became deeply fascinated and entrenched with a passion of learning music since the tender age of 3 years old. After achieving her Associate Diploma in Solo Piano Performance from Trinity College of London and attaining qualifications for several Early Childhood Music programs from U.S.A., she began to teach full-time as a piano teacher and aspire to impart the joy and knowledge of music to her students. In the period of over 20 years, she has taught students ranging from babies to adults.
In 2011, she started exploring and developed a serious interest in the world of neurodivergent; leading to various diplomas and qualifications ranging from Montessori, Phonetics, Play Therapy as well as a Post Graduate Certificate in Autism Studies from Griffith University, Brisbane. In order to further understand, help and teach neurodivergent children, she has also attended numerous courses from both local and overseas in Sensory Integration, Vision, Handwriting, Executive Functioning and many more other related topics.
Combining her experience, love of music and affection for children; especially neurodivergent children – Sue Hui Chuah has employed her extensive knowledge to the neurodivergent children and their parents in their journey over the years. Witnessing her own as well as other children striving in their musical journey at BMA gave Sue Hui Chuah the inspiration to hopefully create a similar opportunity for the neurodivergent community. She strongly believes that through learning music, not only it may bring colour into the child’s life but along the way learn to manage themselves and gain confidence. At the same time, bringing their musical journey experience to its fullest capability with the platform and facilities provided in BMA.
